Workshop
Workshops – whether digital or in-person – are a powerful format for learning, built on interaction, reflection and collaboration. They require active participation, discussion and hands-on application.
Workshops are particularly effective for:
✦ Creative and innovative processes, such as brainstorming, design thinking and strategy development.
✦ Reflection-based learning, where participants analyse, discuss and turn theory into practice.
✦ Decision-making and problem-solving, where diverse perspectives and experiences lead to better outcomes.
✦ Developing soft skills such as leadership, communication and teamwork.
Things to keep in mind:
If a lot of theory needs to be delivered, consider doing that separately in another format.
Make sure all participants have enough background knowledge or experience to contribute actively.
Don’t underestimate the time needed for preparation and structure – it’s key to getting the most value from the workshop.
